Ajith brings in a wealth of knowlege and expertise in the areas of Organisational Strategy, Operations Management, Shared Services Creation,  Service Delivery, Business Process Outsourcing, Programme/Project Management. Ajith heads the Global Delivery Center at Intervest. He played a key role in successfully setting up the shared services operation at Intervest in a relatively short period of time.

Ajith  is a seasoned IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) professional with over 25 years of experience, significantly influencing the growth of Sri Lanka’s outsourcing industry. In 2004, as Vice President of IT and Projects, he was instrumental in establishing one of the country’s largest BPO centers for WNS Global Services, which provided finance and accounting services for AVIVA and employed over 250 professionals. ​

Beyond operational leadership, Dandeniya contributed to industry knowledge by authoring the “BPO and Sourcing Dictionary,” a comprehensive handbook featuring over 850 definitions related to BPO and outsourcing. This publication has been a valuable resource for professionals and students, aiding in capacity building within the sector. ​

His career also includes serving as the Chief Information Officer at Hayleys Group and leading the development of a 700+ member shared services team at the London Stock Exchange Group’s Sri Lanka operations. Dandeniya’s efforts have been pivotal in positioning Sri Lanka as a competitive destination for global outsourcing services.​
