Senior Executive – Accounts Payable

The Senior Executive – Accounts Payable, will be responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day accounts payable operations of the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all vendor payments and financial obligations.
Responsibilities
· Strong expertise in the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment execution.
· Proficient in handling domestic and international vendor payments, with hands-on experience in generating and transmitting payment files.
· Conduct thorough due diligence and manage accurate supplier information updates, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
· Act as a proactive liaison with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues, address remittance concerns, and stabilize processes.
· Collaborate with business units to secure approvals and provide insights into expense management and budgeting.
· Assist in month-end and year-end financial close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.
· Drive process improvement and automation initiatives by working with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Professional qualification in CMA, CIMA, CA, or ACCA (or actively pursuing one of these designations).
· 5+ years of relevant work experience.
· Experience in a high-volume AP environment or with multinational organizations.
· Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards in accounts payable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong expertise in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Outlook.
· Experienced in working with ERP systems and applications.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
